Book Review: Until You’re Mine by Samantha Hayes

Until You’re Mine by Samantha Hayes

Description: This book is a psychological thriller that is centered around the lives of three woman. There is Zoe the newly hired nanny who is secretive about her personal life and her past, Claudia the pregnant wife and stepmother to twins and Lorraine the detective with a failing marriage and rebellious teens.

Review: This was not the type of psychological thriller that hurts your head, even with all of the plot twists I would describe it as an “easy” read (not necessarily a bad thing). It was well written and the plot moved forward at a good pace. The book kept you guessing right up until the very end, I even reread the last few chapters because I was so taken back by how it ended. The last ten pages or so were not completely necessary, they helped tie the story neatly together but ultimately after the big plot twist was revealed I skimmed the end of the book. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy psychological thrillers that keep you guessing but don’t want to read a book that ultimately causes their brain to hurt from so much thinking.
