Each child receive 1 feather and brought it up to the board when their color was called.

I’m a silly turkey, I’m so much fun
But I need some silly feathers

Turkey Hop by Carole Peterson

How it Went: “The Night Before Thanksgiving” was a little too long for my kiddos. I ended up only reading 2 books instead of 3. I started out with a small group of 3 kids and thought we could get throw the long book but during the story it grew to 10 kids. They really enjoyed “The Bear Says Thanks” and all of the songs were a hit. I told the parents they can sing the “We Eat Turkey” song to encourage their children to try new food on Thanksgiving.
